The Tolbooth organised two FREE workshops on 2nd November. To learn about herbal magic or to make your own lantern then joining the Halloween Lantern Parade. 

 

Herbal Magic and Potent Potion

Storyteller and former student of herbal medicine Amanda Edmiston, Botanica Fabula, led participants into a witches’ garden seen through stories and invited you all to try a potion or two for yourselves!

Will you risk a sip of the brew that cures a bump from a dancing tree?

Find the answers hidden in the stories and take your findings and formulas home if you dare, in this interactive, workshop full of tastes, teas and tales.

Lantern Making Crafty Drop In

You created your own spooky lantern and took it to the Lantern Parade!
